AMPCOM NVMe Heatsink Review

Posted on May 3, 2022May 29, 2025 by ElectroStingz

My Samsung NVMe 960 EVO drive doesn’t run that hot as it’s only being used for the Operating system however I’ve always wanted to try a heatsink for a little extra cooling and protection. This is one I found on Aliexpress which caught my attention due to the size and colour matching the Jonsbo RAM heatsinks.

The Results

This is only a short test using Crystal Disk Mark however there is a 7 Deg C difference in temperatures so this is actually working. It cost under £10 and comes with all the thermal pads and screws so is a very easy fit to any NVMe drive, the only thing I did was to remove all the sickers on my Samsung EVO 960 to allow better contact / heat transfer.
